🗓️ Labor Holidays Calendar 2026

Published in the BOE on October 28, 2025

From Contaldia Online Consulting, specialists inlabor, tax, and accounting consulting for Odoo companies, we inform you that it has been published in the BOE the Resolution of October 17, 2025, from the General Directorate of Labor, which establishes the official calendar of labor holidays for the year 2026.

🔹 Non-Substitutable National Holidays (mandatory throughout Spain)

  • January 1 (Thursday): New Year's Day
  • April 3: Good Friday
  • May 1 (Friday): Labor Day
  • August 15 (Saturday): Assumption of the Virgin
  • October 12 (Monday): National Day of Spain
  • December 8 (Tuesday): Immaculate Conception
  • December 25 (Friday): Christmas

👉 Additionally, on January 6 (Tuesday) – Epiphany will be a holiday in all Autonomous Communities.

Each town hall will add two local holidays, thus completing the 14 annual holidays.


🏢 Preparation of the Company Labor Calendar

We remind you that, according to the article 34.6 of the Workers' Statute, every company must prepare its labor calendar annually, which must include:

  • The workday established in the applicable agreement.
  • The minimum daily and weekly breaks.
  • The distribution of working days and holidays.

This calendar must be displayed in a visible place at each workplace.
